If you are a veteran who has incurred student loans after serving in the military, a new program called “The Veterans’ Student Loan Relief Fund” may be able to help ease the burden of paying back your loans. This fund is available to veterans of all branches of the military who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001. If selected, the veteran can receive up to $5000 to repay educational loans incurred at a for-profit school during undergraduate studies. The application is due by August 11, 2012.
