File For Divorce - YourselfThere is good news for folks who want to do their divorce themselves but are worried about some of the paperwork, like the deeds to transfer real estate or the QDROs to divide retirement. Attorneys can now do only selected paperwork and/or give advice only on some issues under an agreement for limited representation. Sure, it is all about forms, but is it worth risking thousands of dollars just to save a few hundred? Figure out what you can and do the paperwork you can. Then have an attorney look it over. You’ll be glad you did. |
